Welcome and thank you for visiting our web page!

This web page will help you learn about the Stones Ranch Joint Land Use Study (JLUS), track the project’s progress, and even provide input to the project team. The page will be updated as the project moves forward, including announcements of upcoming public meetings, pdf draft and final reports for you to review and download, and other important information. The project is funded by the U.S. Department of Defense’s Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA). The local sponsors of the Stone’s Ranch JLUS are the Towns of East Lyme and Old Lyme.

Public awareness and engagement are critical to the project’s success. Sometimes you cannot make it to a meeting, but have comments to provide. Use the orange tab in the upper left portion of this page to sign up for email notification of public meeting dates and the green tab to provide comments via email. You can also contact Mr. Gary Goeschel, the Project Manager via the link provided in the upper right portion of the page.

Please spend some time and review the information provided via the tabs at the top of the page. The drop down menus provide access to the following information:

Project Overview. This menu will give you access to background information on this project. Look here for an overview of the JLUS process and a map of the Study Area.

Public Participation. To date, two community meetings have been held and a third will be scheduled for some time in May/June 2016. Please click on the public participation tab at the top of this page for more details and check back soon for an announcement on the May/June meeting date, place and time.

Resources. Need a copy of a file? This is the menu to look under. All materials prepared for workshops, newsletters, and draft and final documents will be posted here for your review. This section will also include useful links to JLUS stakeholders.
